From popular science cafes to public forums and debates, explore the world around you.
At the Bristol and Bath Branch, we provide a quality programme which balances the public debate of key science-related issues in the news, with opportunities for hands-on encounters with the remarkable achievements of the latest science and technology.
The Bristol and Bath area covers Bristol, Bath and Swindon (BS, BA and SN) postcodes, although of course our events welcome British Science Association supporters nationwide.
You will see from our current programme just how wide ranging our activities are, including the high profile “Enterprise Britain” series kicked off and chaired by Adam Hart-Davis in Bristol in October and November, the monthly programme of joint SciBar/Cafe Scientifique discussions and the very active Science in Radstock programme, not to mention the many other visits, discussions and talks we organize.
