Null Hypothesis, the Journal of Unlikely Science, is a well-known for is fun view of the serious business of science. According to their site: “essentially we poke fun at the world of science and technology to highlight all the weird and wacky stuff out there. We present articles that are often so far fetched you can’t believe they can possibly be true.”

It has a loyal and growing following from all walks of life and of all ages. The team is based at University Gate East – the SETSquared incubator at the University of Bristol.

The site is also attracting national media coverage and was involved with the Cheltenham Science Festival in 2008.
