IOP_S_WestThe Institute of Physics is a scientific charity devoted to increasing the practice, understanding and application of physics. It has a worldwide membership of over 36,000 and is a leading communicator of physics-related science to all audiences, from specialists through to government and the general public. One of our core aims is to secure a flourishing future for physics, and to this end the Institute supports physics in all schools and colleges.

Activities include teacher training & professional development courses; events for teachers and students; careers materials for all ages; and a wide variety ofclassroom resources.
