NSEW event – Networks, Symmetries & Darwin’s Finches

As part of National Science & Engineering Week the Bath & Bristol branch of the Bristish Science Association are hosting an evening talk by Ian Stewart (pdf)

Prof Stewart (University of Warwick) will describe several mathematical models for evolution and will explore the unexpected genetics of the Galapagos Finches… illustrated with photographs from his recent visit to the Galapagos Islands.

Wednesday 17 March, 2010, 7.00 pm at St Mary Redcliffe Church (or see our Events page) – everyone welcome – admission £1 at door for talk. St Mary Redcliffe Church is close to Bristol Temple Meads Station; a public car park is opposite on Redcliffe Way.
